an art service is a shop located in new york city that designs and publishes books.  it looks like a small shop and the environment feels quaint and has enough room for creative thought spaces.  i like the interiors and i like how they have merged their services of the art of printing and design.

If you’re someone who creates, in any way, focus should be important to you. And this includes a much larger group than the traditional “creative types” — artists, writers, photographers, designers, musicians and the like. No, people who create are a much larger group than that, though creative types are included. Those who create include: those who invent and create products or services
teachers who create lessons and activities and content for students
professors who write syllabi and lectures
anyone who writes research papers
stay-at-home parents who create activities for their kids
executives who create plans, presentations, visions, proposals
ad execs who create ad campaigns
bloggers
people who make websites of any kind
anyone who writes reports
someone who crafts physical products like clothing, cars, etc.
kids who have to do homework
and many other types of people

inspiring video about the traditional hand painted advertising practice.  i am moved by how these painters take their jobs seriously.  i wish i could meet people like them in my country.

Creativity is essentially a lonely art. An even lonelier struggle. To some a blessing. To others a curse. It is in reality the ability to reach inside yourself and drag forth from your very soul an idea.

About:

i'm discovering that writing is an introspective journey that forces one to look at their interior and find a way to live with their idiosyncrasies to makes sense of faith and the need for its authenticity.

i'm a graduate of business school, a people person, a closet artist and currently a beginner in the study of advertising and visual art.
